Many Co-op games support Spilt Screen displays to show two or more players in various regions of the game. Co-op gameplay changes the single-player mode, enabling additional players, and may increase the level difficulty to compensate for other players.

The Cooperative games enable players to help one another in different ways such as healing, offering covering fire in a firefight, passing items or weapons, performing co-op manoeuvres such as levelling a teammate up and overcoming obstacles. The Co-op is distinct from other Multiplayer modes, such as Competitive Multiplayer Modes like Death Match or PvP (Player versus Player). Co-op (also known as Cooperative) is a feature in video games that enable the player to work with his friend or another player as teammates, against one or more AI (Artificial Intelligence) opponents.
